MAC Viva Glam Rihanna 1 Lipstick

Last year MAC chose Rihanna to be the face of Viva Glam. I was a bit slow getting the Rihanna lipsticks and last week was able to buy the Viva Glam Rihanna 1 lipstick. Rihanna 2 was sold out. Rihanna 1 is a blue red lipstick with a frost finish. It comes in limited edition red packaging with Rihanna's signature stamped on the tube.

This is a really nice lipstick that has plenty of pigment in it. It has a frost finish, so has a bit of shimmer in it. The color built up nicely and in no time I was able to get full opaque color. I quite liked the frost effect too, most of my red lipsticks are either matte or cream, but don't actually have a shimmer in them. Although it wasn't a matte, it did have really good staying power and I didn't really have to reapply the color to my lips. Once it was on it stayed on.
