My Thoughts:
I admit it, I was sceptical about this product. I was not expecting to feel anything ... but when I applied it to a ... (ahem) eruption I most certainly did feel a zing! ... and after awhile the size of the ... eruption (aka spot) ... did go down (yipee!). However, after 2-3 uses this product does seems to lose its initial 'effect' ... I don't know if the roller ball application contaminates the product thus, rendering it less zing-y, but I don't get the same tingling (almost slightly burning) effect I got at the beginning - so now when I apply it I don't really feel anything ... Don't get me wrong though, this product still seems to shrinks/dries up and help eradicate the (ahem) problems - its just lost its zing that's all (literally).
Anyway, in spite of the less zingy effect I think this product is great, it dries up pimples effectively and at the price of £1.50- I think its one of the most inexpensive spot treatments around. Additionally (yep this is a mini essay) it contains salicylic acid (known to dry up and reduce pimples), tea tree oil, camphor bark oil and witch hazel which are natural antiseptics ... and water, which means this stuff is not so potent that your face will drop off (haha). Seriously though, its good when products (especially for acne) have water in them as high concentrations of, for instance the said ingredients (tea tree oil etc.) will/can/might burn and damage your skin in their pure forms (concentrations).
The only downside in the ingredient list ... is the alcohol ... you bad elf ... because it is super drying to the skin and can aggravate acne (not the kind of alliteration a spotty girl is looking for ... annihilate acne, why yes:) ... aggravate acne ... no just no). Nonetheless, it certainly helps me - so if in need I would repurchase again :).
