What's happening in my kitchen... we went to a football game this morning so we stopped at Dunkin Donuts and got coffee and donuts for breakfast. For lunch we had chicken salad and tuna salad for sandwiches. I took chicken out of the freezer for dinner. I think I will make Chicken Alfredo.
What's outside my window... A partly sunny, partly cloudy day. It rained early this morning and I was afraid we would be watching football in the rain, but the sun came out and it was nice. They are predicting thunder boomers for later this afternoon.
What I'm thankful for... I'm thankful that we are able to enjoy our retirement.
What I'm smelling... Fresh cut grass. A neighbor is mowing their lawn.
What I'm hearing... A lawnmower, the Yankees baseball game on TV, the whir of the ceiling fan and the occasional thunk of hubby stacking the big pile of wood that arrived this weekend.
What I'm crafting... I finished the last (I think) of the Swiffer covers for the craft sale. Now I'm going to make some wash/dish cloths.
What's on my mind... Our annual End of Summer Bash for the grands on Wednesday and next weekend's trip to Virginia.
